Congratulations to Chris Bober (Class of 1995) who was inducted into the OPS Athletic Hall of Fame.

Chris’s Career Highlights:

  • South High School
    • 3 year letterman in football and baseball
  • University of Nebraksa-Omaha (UNO)
    •  Started 45 consecutive games for the Maverick football team
    • Two (2) time Division II All-American
  • National Football League (NFL)
    • Played in the NFL for 8 years (4 years with N. Y. Giants & 4 years with K. C. Chiefs)
    • Signed to N. Y. Giants practice squad as an undrafted free agent in 2000.
    • Moved to active roster before end of 2000 season
    • Started 31 of 47 games for Giants & 44 of 48 for Chiefs
    • Retired in 2008
